On Wednesday (16) a 35‑year‑old woman went to the Military Police station in Paranaíba to report alleged breach of a protective order by a 33‑year‑old man.
According to the police report, the man sent Instagram messages after a judicial decision that prohibited any contact with the woman. One of the messages read “não vai desistir” and added that, even knowing he could be arrested, “vai para cadeia, mas vai amando”.
The victim said that on 14 September two additional messages were sent, but they were deleted before she could see them. She presented a screenshot of the conversation to the police, which was attached to the occurrence record.
The Military Police logged the complaint, referencing the protective measure identified by the judicial number indicated in the report. The woman was advised to block the man on social networks and to call 190 in case of emergency. She also received guidance to report any new violations to the specialized assistance network or to the Delegacia de Atendimento à Mulher (DAM).
The case remains under investigation by the Police. If the breach is confirmed, the offender may face detention for violating the protective order, as established by Brazilian law.
