On Tuesday night, 15, a 40-year-old man was taken to the Civil Police station in Paranaíba after being found at his 71‑year‑old father’s house, violating a protective order. Police were summoned following a denunciation.
The order, issued by the Justice of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul under process nº 0800498-73.2026.8.12.0800, grants protection to the elderly father and prohibits the son from approaching him. It is a measure of urgency that favors the senior citizen and expressly bars any contact by the child.
According to the victim, the son, who left prison about a week earlier, entered the house at night demanding money to buy narcotics and rummaged through drawers and cabinets searching for cash.
Police Military units responded, located the son inside the house and, respecting the active protective measure, escorted him to the Civil Police Delegacy where the breach was recorded and standard procedures for urgent protective order violations were applied.
The incident was recorded as a breach of urgent protective measure. Authorities will keep the case under investigation and may pursue further sanctions according to the law. The filing is classified as ‘descumprimento de medida protetiva de urgência’ and the investigation will continue.
